| | | Field Mouse and Family Saturday I was getting something out of a box in my garage, at the bottom of the box was a little field mouse, I tipped up so that it could run and hide, imagin my horror when I looked down at four pinky/grey baby mice with there eyes shut. I know that the have a fast track into adult hood and would guess that they were about two/three days old.
I got gloves on and scooped them up with as much of the nest as I could returned them to the box and put them back into the garage.
Do you think that they will be alright, what else should I do. As long as I live the look in the Mother face at the bottom of the box will stay with me as long as I live. |

| | | Re: Field Mouse and Family As long as you returned them they should be ok, also hopefully you did not handle the nest for to long or the young minimising leaving much of your scent on them. Sound about 4-5 days old, they will have upto 4 litters per year so if the worst does happen it shouldnt affect the local population to much.
