Solar Lighting and Wildlife?

Morning Buddy Bears

After my Hedgehog in the pond insident yesterday that i posted on the mammal forum i was wondering if the use of a couple of small solar lights would a good idea near my ponds?

They give of very minimal light as i have some in the shed which i used a few years back before i started my wildlife garden.

Living where i do we have a certain amount of glare from street lighting anyway and my garden has a large amount of dense undergrowth as a good canopy for wildlife away from that glare.

All of this has never stopped me being visited by RATS Hedgehogs AND FOXES IN THE PAST so i would be interested to know from those in the know?

I have solar lights around my pond and we get lots of wildlife. They are coloured ones that can float on the water.

Yes I've seem those floating coloured ones,they look really nice

I'll stick with my BOG STANDARD black spike in the ground ones for the time

being as i think they were a christmas present and if i invite the friends that bought them round for tea and scones or something stronger
They will want to see them shining in all their miniscule glory?!
