| | | My New Species Today, I went out with my Dad (Fourwings) to a local place which is good for butterflies. The reason I called this thread 'My New Species' is because everything I saw today, I hadn't ever Seen Before!
Here is what I saw: Common Blue Butterfly - Dingy Skipper - Small Heath -
White-legged Damselfly -
Kidney Vetch -
All in all, I had a really great day out (even though I was on the verge of tears coming down a slippery slope! ), and am glad I came along!

| | | Re: My New Species Thanks, Kayleigh! I have a slight inkling that I have seen the common blue when I was younger... about 5 or 6?

| | | Re: My New Species Nice one Greenish. It's always great to see something new for the first time. I'm hoping to add to my list of 'to sees' this year. I'm hoping to see the 'Wartbiter' this year.

Today I went out with the intention of getting some landscape photographs but found a few moorland pools with Dragonflies everywhere and ended up taking shots of them. Very enjoyable.
