| | | Please help, monitoring wildlife hi, does anyone know of any monitoring methods for post-released wildlife casualties once they have been rehabilitated? This seems to be a tricky topic to find on the internet or books???? |

I suppose it depends on what was wrong with it.
I know with Hedgehogs when they are released they don't eat and loose weight for the first few days but soon recover and adapt |

| | | Re: Please help, monitoring wildlife Hi, Are you looking at any wildlife or a particular bird/ mammal, we run a wildlife hospital, there are ways of releasing wild animals to give them the best possible chance. I know the RSPCA main wildlife centres do alot of research in the post release of some wildlife, it might be worth getting in touch with them. We have done some deer releases with the permission and help of deer management team. Ear tags were placed on our post release RTA casualties, with good results. We are very busy at the moment, but i will try and check in for your replies. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
