Please can someone help me with identifying this spider? I found it in our garden shed on the back of a roof tile. There was not much of a web.

It's a Steatoda species of spider. There's been a few about. Others will define better than I.

Depends where you are in the UK, do we have a size? (Just the body, excluding legs)
Initial thoughts say Steatoda grossa, but that's not 100% confirmed.

The body is approximately 7 - 10 millimetres long. |
