hello all, with all this lovely weather we are having i find myself been outdoors alot more and decided on saturday that it was time to go and try out my new camera.
We headed off to stapleford woods {nr newark} for the afternoon. I was trying all day to get a photo of birds but couldnt manage it as they wouldnt stop flying, we stopped of for a short while next to a little lake for a picnic before making are way back down to the car.
Im not sure on what some species are so any help would be great.

Not sure what this is but i think it may be a male crab spider


And i saw my first water scorpian and caddis fly larvae
