| Under-recording of less 'attractive' species. Do you think that records for various species can be a bit inaccurate, to say the least, as some of the 'less attractive' ones are over-looked or not actively searched for, giving mis-leading information as to where and how these species are doing?
I know that all recorders of all species are vitally important and it would be an impossible task to get recorders in every county. I would suspect that it must also be very difficult to accept records that cannot be 100% guaranteed as accurate, even though they could well be.
I do record, when I know that I'm 100% about something, but to be honest,it's the easier species like the odonates, butterflies, etc etc.
I suppose some recording is better than none at all, giving us a bit, if not a whole picture.
