wild from the hand

what wild animals have you been able to feed from your hand
the animals concerned should be completely wild and able to oeoeoeoeoeoe off if they wanted to

i have fed a dove and a robin from my hand
i also fed a squirrel from my hand but it was in a park and it ran up to me, virtully mugger me, so i'd say it was semi tammed and not really wild

same as a few canadian geese at a lake that obviously know where the food is etc

i've not tryed a Fox yet

The grey squirrels in Derby would take food from your hand..

I feed a couple of squirrels here by hand but i know them very well and if they are nearby will come when i call their name. However not something i would really recommend unless you are very sure of the animal. There are two that, although they mean no harm, would not feed by hand as they are both a bit hyper and close their eyes when they go to take the food - accident waiting to happen. Luckily the people that are moving in here love wildlife and squirrels and are going to continue feeding
