Bentley wood for purple emps. and white-letter hairstreaks and Marsh Fritillaries and all the other rarities that occur there - amazing amazing place. Er salisbury rivers are all good especially for Water Voles which i have seen many times. Langford lakes, salisbury....new forest of course....titchfield haven....keyhaven marshes....durlston (another amazing place and well worth a visit)....loads of other places - type wiltshire wildlife into google and go to their site... oh and the isle of wight is also worth a visit

Ah yes, St Catherine's Hill. I remember seeing a Slow-worm there about 55 years ago. Incidentally, my father always used to call it St Cat's Hill, and for many years I believed that was its true name, and wondered who St Cat was.
