| |  Two For ID From Last Year Please!
Hi,  I have a bird above - actually taken within weeks of me begining wildlife photography - which I believe now is a dunnock - is it?  And the other is a damselfly. This was nearby to the location to where a Variable was that I photographed in London (which I believe is unusual). I'm wondering its the female? It appears to be trying to lay eggs on... the top of a leaf. Thankyou very much.

Jason, you're right, the bird is a Dunnock.
As you suggested the damselfly is a female egg laying (ovipositing) + is an Azure Damselfly. |

Jason they are dunnock(Prunella modularis) and for your Damdel fly sorry cannot help you but nice images all th same
