| | | Re: What's your most recent " Wildlife Moment"? Sat at work this lunchtime I looked out of the window to see a muntjac pottering around the garden.
Good enough for me but I'd have been my colleague who, doing the night shift, sat in the garden watching (probably) the same muntjac browsing less than 10ft away without noticing her this morning at 5am.
There used to be a couple around the grounds a few years ago but they hadn't been seen for so long; it's good to see them back.

| | | Re: What's your most recent " Wildlife Moment"? Having found a Badger sett earlier today i decided to go back tonight to see if i could see any Badgers.
No luck with the Badgers so i decided to check a field where i filmed a Fox last year.
Just as i came up over the brow of the field i could see a Fox so i stalked it into the next field & watched as it made it's way down to the wood.
I started making a squeaking noise & TWO foxes came out from the wood one stayed near the bottom of the field but the other one came up through the hedge i was in.
It walked straight past me & then started eating something on the ground, but one of the horses in the field ran over to see me & scared the Fox off
So i'll go back soon but this time i will be more prepared. |

| | | Re: What's your most recent " Wildlife Moment"? I've seen so many amazing things, but the most recent was yesterday evening. I was walking through the woodland of a RSPB reserve, where I volunteer and came upon a Roe deer stripping leaves off a tree. I was so close to it and it was so beautiful, but after a few minutes it saw me and fled, making a strange sort of barking noise. Felt very lucky!
