| |  Wildlife On Google Earth??
Hi,
I have recently been using Google Earth a lot - and wondered if any other WAB'ers have seen any birds, mammals etc anywhere within the UK on the application - anything unusual??

I don't mean JUST unusual sightings - anything like swans in flight, ducks, birds etc. Anything. |

Hi, if you look at Abbotsbury Swannery, Dorset, on Google Earth you can see the swans, but I don't think the resolution's high enough to see anything smaller.

You can see the elephants at Knowsley Safari Park...
To be honest, I doubt the resolution would be good enough to make out anything as small as a bird. |

You can see our Common Terns at Bedfont Lakes Country Park near Heathrow.

you can see some swans along the walls at mistley and across the road theres some sheep or goats ?

When I was a kid we used to feed the ducks on the lake at Danson Park, Bexleyheath.
You can see loads of them on the google map.
Look in the North-east corner of the lake and they're still being fed!
Absolutely nothing to do with wildlife, but my favourite find on Google maps is a real live cruise missile in Utah  | | | |
