HA Ha Pete,

I never noticed that, I used the words "lake life", but in the same paragraph mentioned the marina next to it.

No they haven't fenced off the area, only tied warning ribbon on the hawser, plus a small [now broken] "keep out construction site" sign hung on the same hawser.

I think I'll wait for the EA to contact me first, and as to the RoW I don't think it's ever been a path, as it follows the line of a 5 ft underground sewage pipe to the Thames, that's probably why it's two lakes instead of one.

P.S. perhaps the EA know something about flooding that they're not telling us. , how high above sea level are you.?
