| | | Some pics from yesterday Spent an enjoyable day yesterday at Gosforth Park NR near Newcastle. The Red Squirrels were very active on the ground and a lot more approachable than usual.Heres a few pics....
Not many birds within range to photograph, but managed this quick shot of a Blackbird as it landed nearby....
...and this shot of a pristine Comma sunning on one of the trees....
Hope you like them

| | | Re: Some pics from yesterday Thanks Bill. Usually the Squirrels are a nightmare to get close to unless you visit one of the feeding stations, luckily I was there at the right time for once

| | | Re: Some pics from yesterday Thanks Colin, considering their plight in the uk i feel very privileged to have them so close to home.Hopefully they`ll be there for a few years yet, although trouble is afoot regarding some released Greys where these shots were taken (see the squirrel cull thread).

Mark H | So am I!
Just did a bit of research into that camera.
Sounds like just what I'm after - and at a half decent price too...
Bit of belt-tightening required from me I think!
Cheers again Mark

| | | Re: Some pics from yesterday Nice one If you check my gallery in the meantime, all of the shots there are taken with Panasonics apart from the Water Shrew shots.Mostly with my previous fz20....but it`ll give you a further idea of what the cameras can do...expect better results with the fz50
