Snail ID Please

Anyone know what snail this is, please.

Hello Tormentil (I love your signature, it always makes me chuckle

). I think the snail is a "No Stripe" Brown Lipped-snail, a variation of the Brown Lipped-snail.

Thanks goosey. Did n't realise there was a "no striped" version!! On Googling for it, the only reference I could find is the BBC Open University.

Looks like a Kentish Snail (Monacha cantiana) to me

Its a long way from then. It was at Whisby NR in Lincolnshire.

I'm certain it's not any kind of Brown-lipped Snail (Cepaea nemoralis)
