| | | Slug Hello
Can anyone help me identyfy a slug spotted today in the garden. It was about 5 inches long and had markings on it that looked a bit like a leopard. From its head and a quarter of the way down (it looked liked a saddle) the markings were a light beige and irregular blackish spots, the rest of its body was beige with regular blackish dashes. I am new to the site am I able to add a photo? |

Secondly in answer to whether you can upload an image, yes we would love an image of a Leopard Slug.
I suggest you look at the Video Guides - the link is top right of most pages. This will tell you not only how to upload but also size and any other restrictions.
Should you find that you cannot upload for some reason then you are welcome to PM me.
Cheers

| Hi Eponaceae
The slug you're thinking of is the Kerry Slug - Geomalacus maculosus. Its a member of whats known as the 'Lusitanian' fauna and flora.
A protected species unfortunately for those whose cabbages it's munching! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
