This spider was on Sea Club Rush in a web approximately 60cms across. About 50 cms from the ground and had a good supply of Long-Winged Coneheads to eat.
It was on marshland, in similar habitat to the Wasp spider.
I could only get a shot of the underside because of it's position in the ditch.
The upper side appeared to have very little markings on it orangey abdomen. To me it looked like it could be from the Araneidae family. I have never seen this large spider before on the marshes and would be very pleased to know what it is and anything about it. Thank you.
