Another unidentified snail
Seen on a beach on the Isle of Mull a couple of weeks ago. Possibly the most beautiful snail I've ever seen, but I've no idea what type it is. Anyone help, please?

I agree, it is a stunning colour. The snail is Helix aspersa( Garden snail).

Thanks, CC - I thought it must be something more exotic. So, my next question is what makes it that particular colour? Something it eats? I feel a research project coming on.
