| | Sea defences I wonder if anyone else amongst our members saw the programme on BBC4 last night (21.2.06) entitled Flooded Britain, which saw parts of the sea defences along the Essex coast being knocked down, in order to allow the salt marshes to redevelop and hopefully manage potential flooding in the area in years to come.
It was a fascinating programme with obvious arguments both for and against similar initiatives in the future, but thought provoking too. (Watch out for a repeat if you missed it). |

| | | Re: Sea defences Unfortunately I did not see this as I only get the 5 non-Freeview and non-satellite channels.
I would have been really interested to see this programme as it was about my part of the wolrd.
Hopefully, it may be repeated on BB1 or BBC 2 at some point.
