What is also worth buying is the Manfrotto sliding plate adapter at about £35, which allows you to maintain the centre of balance when the camera is mounted on the scope, you then don't need to lock off the tripod head, but set enough friction so that when you let go, the scope stays still - makes filming a lot easier.
