| | | Re: Mothing If anyone is interested I am working on a thread to do with images of moths. This is to try and bring the world of moths to the members that know nothing about them. These members tend not to look at the moths in the Gallery and it might surprise some of them just how beautiful moths can be. The title will be "The hidden "WOW" factor in our gardens."
I should be posting it within about thirty minutes. Feel free to add to it with any moths you think would interest perhaps Moth-ers and non Moth-ers alike. Hopefully it might generate quite a bit of interest in Moths.

| | | Re: Mothing Nice one John, sounds like a great idea, I started moth trapping this year and was amazed at what was flying around the garden at night.
I will add some of my more interesting images to the thread.

Guy | Thanks Guy
You have added some moths I can only drool at. They are certainly a cracking addition to that thread.

| | | Re: Mothing Hi
I like John, I am holed-up at home having torn an achilles tendon. I am using the time to do some moth trapping. The trap has arrived and I am waiting for the electrics. I have some experience with macros so I guess I'll be ok with those but how do you start with micro leps? Are there any good keys, spotter books and so on.
Thanks
Jon
p.s I wouldn't have found this site if I hadn't trashed my leg so something very +ve has come of it, although not for my wife who is ferrying me around. |

| | | Re: Mothing Oscar/John,
Thanks for the information - I will add in the sites as favourites on my Explorer and see how things go. I'll post things I cannot do here (maybe a lot to start with) and I apologise beforehand for the image quality as it will be poor. Certainly nothing like John's fantastic images!
Regards
