| | | Most useless piece of equipment... ...or to put it another way: biggest waste of money.
Just to polarize another topic here, what's the most useless gadget you own, or what turned out to be the biggest disappointment, equipment wise?

| | | Re: Most useless piece of equipment... A pressure washer, by the time it was hooked up to the hose, plugged in to the power, untangled the wires and hose, attached the high pressure gun etc I could have washed the car. Then you have to tidy it all up again, unplug it, unravel it get it from around the car wheels, drain it and put it away. If that wasn't enough the darn thing stopped and started intermittently so I lost my rag completely and picked it up and threw it against the wall. The performance of the unit is now entirely consistent, i.e. it doesn't work.
Car washing is a much more straight forward experience now. Jon

| | | Re: Most useless piece of equipment... My camera.. well to be truthful it is probably me. It is a touch too heavy for my feeble arms and the quality of the photos leaves a lot to be desired, which is probably down to my vision (arms no longer long enough) It isnt a bad camera I just cant get to grips with it. I want my old sony mavica back... at least I got results with that.
Anyone want to buy a slightly used camera??

| | | Re: Most useless piece of equipment... 1) a camera I brought 2nd hand from a camera shop,I cant get it to take decent Photo's because i cant get one of the setting in the right place so my pictures come out all Blurred,
Eeyore has sent me a down-load of the manual ( didnt come with the camera) so I am trying to sort it out.. But it is close to going out through the window
2) a pump for my pond, it worked for about a hour and stooped we think its blocked as we were using it to empty the pond, But we cant get the base off to clean it, even though we have followed the instructions!! So are doing the rest with a bucket.. I think sometimes the simplest methods are the best!!!! |
