With nice sunny days and temperatures in the very high twenties I was not too surprised when Windows opted out! I looked up the fault code but was none the wiser so I ran a couple of diagnostic programs; Mother board overheating.
The computer came out from its bespoke cuboard and I peeked inside.
Yikes, everything was covered in "fur" The Boards and the fans were so bunged up It took a couple of hours with soft paintbrushes and a vaccuum
cleanerto get everything pristine. left it to run for an hour then gave it a diagnostic no overheating problems.

Did this 3 months ago.Mind you,first time taken apart in 5 years.So,no wonder it was running nosily.Not so slow now.Pays to look after your tools......
