| | | New spotting scope Hi one and all.
I have been into photography for some time now. Recently I have been looking at getting a spotting scope. I have been looking at the Opticron HR 80 GA ED with SDL zoom eyepiece Mk ll priced at £1040.00. I feel I need the 80mm scope as I am sure I will have a go at digiscoping. I am open to any advice that can be offered.
Thanks in advance Neil |

| | | Re: New spotting scope I've been considering selling my Leica Apo 77 with angled view finder and zoom lens. If you can locate one, these are superb scopes. Wizzo

| | | Re: New spotting scope Have a look at the used market.
I recently picked up a Kowa TSN4 Ex demo (put at the back of the shop and forgotten about!). Not the latest scope but it performs VERY well and cost £100, pity a decent eyepiece is more than twice the price of the scope!
Still a top quality 77mm scope, with a flourite element, ain't bad for well under £400.
