hi all
any suggestions for a decent sub £100 pair of walking boots i am looking at berghaus explorer trek, any one use them

Hiya Greg! I have a pair of Berghaus boots. They were reduced to £70.00 at 'Go Outdoors', but I don't know if the offer is still on. I've owned slippers that wern't as comfortable as these boots - Wizzo

I have a pair of Berghaus Explorer Sport XCR, although this model has been deleted, nothing as changed much in the design.

I worn mine for the 2010 Coast to Coast Walk and part of the Cleveland Way and very pleased with them. 100% waterproof, I had 4 days of heavy showers, rain and snow on the Cleveland Way last November and my feet were bone dry.

The downside is, that there are a little scuffed on the uppers, that is probably me, although plenty of wear still left on the soles.

I could use them for mountain biking, especially Coast to Coast

I can recommend them.
