| | | Did Santa bring you anything interesting? Just wondering what everyone found under the tree on Christmas morning?
I found a lovely looking book about Derbyshire Brown Hares and a pair of wading boots to help satify my penchant for paddling about in streams and rivers, already tested yesterday in a very frozen River Etherow |

| | | Re: Did Santa bring you anything interesting? Wildlife wise I have camouflage netting, 2 identical feeders for my feeding experiment and 4 books:
1. Silent Summer - Norman Maclean
2. The Naturalized Animals of Britain and Ireland - christopher Lever
3. The Collins Bird Guide
4. The Butterfly Isles: A Summer in Search of Our Emperors and Admirals - Patrick Barkham
This last one is probably my favourite. I've read a couple of pages and I'm really looking forward to snuggling up next to the fire with this one sometime soon.

an electronic picture frame where it cycles through images I have taken..
A portrait in a frame, drawn for me of my old dog who died a few years ago, that was nice..
Also got lots of nice goodies to eat..
Not really wildlife but I have a bee/insect box waiting to be out up. |

It helped that I also saw the queen of spain frits and know some of the people he talks about so it holds some great memories for me. |

Funny old world but I'm not complaining, I think it's quite funny
