hi im bittern484 and i want too get a wildlife camcorder now for the proboly my price range is about...200 too 300 perhaps abit more id apreciate any help that you would be willing too give

Most of the talk on WAB is about dSLRs so I guess the members have little help to give with camcorder - certainly I know almost nothing about them.

My guess is that they are mainly made for parties, weddings, tourism etc.. As such they will have little reach and so not be so good for wildlife.

One bit of advice I would give though, is don't be taken in my "digital zoom" - it is only a crop of the original. It isn't what is better called optical zoom. Big zoom tends to cost big bucks!
