I would be using it on a 1.4 crop senor body so at 500mm I should able to stretch the lens to 700 which is ok but the 6.3 f stop might be to slow for certain shots.
Can I ask those who have this lens what would be my maximum zoom length before I lose f5.6? |

The focusing is fast and accurate at all speeds. I don't use the lens much now days but I'll never get rid of it. There are times where the flexibility of the zoom outweighs the slightly lower resolution you get when comparing it to a prime lens. |
