| | Laptop bags I've just treated myself to a high spec laptop computer so I can download & check images out in the field.
Now I need a good laptop bag to carry it in, can anyone out there recommend a good one please, I've just been looking on the net & I had no idea that there were just so many |

| | | Re: Laptop bags My advice would be to buy a bag that doesn't look like a laptop bag, or else you'll be a target for any passing scroyle who thinks he can make a few quick quid.

| | | Re: Laptop bags There's a company called axio that make hard cases that look more like little back packs than laptop bags, but I've only ever seen them in funky (wildlife will see you coming from a mile away) colours.
Edit: I've just found their website - www.axio-usa.com - and it looks like they also do them in black |

| | | Re: Laptop bags Thanks Stu, I'll have a look, the back-pac design would be handy.
henrya - thanks, thats good advice, though I don't think I'd be an obvious target for muggers due to my build - 6ft 1in tall, 15 stone ex-rugby player |

| | | Re: Laptop bags Both Crumpler and Lowe-Pro do bags that take both laptop & camera equipment, might be worth checking them out - WarehouseExpress http://www.warehouseexpress.co.uk have a fantastic range & good website to view them.

| | | Re: Laptop bags What I'm still looking for & would welcome any advice is the best way of being able to carry a camera and various lenses inside a "standard" rucsak. I have a photo bag (Lowe-pro Orion Trekker) which is good, but not as good as my Berghaus rucsak for a serious day's walking - but then I worry about the camera being adequately protected, and it always seems to migrate to the bottom of the bag below cagoule, overtrousers and sandwiches just when you want to get it out quickly |
