| | | Re: Adobe Photoshop query... If modified in CS2 the EXIF should still stay in the photo. If modified in MS Photo editor it has gone I think for good. But not 100% sure

"In most cases the metadata remains with the file even when the file format changes, for example, from PSD to JPG. Metadata is also retained when those files are placed in an Adobe InDesign layout."
So I'm confused if yours is missing? |

To preserve EXIF after editing an image, use the Save AS command (not Save or Save for Web) from the File menu. The Save As dialog window opens.
Select JPEG from the Format drop down menu, give the file a new name, then click the Save button.
The EXIF data will remain embedded in the new file. You should always edit copies of originals. If you make a mistake, start over using another copy of the original.

I shall alter my practice.
