| | | New equipment After spending well over a year thinking about and reading about scopes and new binoculars I eventually bought both today.
I think I may have read that we aren't allowed to praise shops because they offer cheap deals, but can I recommend a shop for excellent service?
I bought both from the InFocus shop at London Colney and received excellent advice, was given the chance to use 6 pairs of binoculars and three scopes for well over an hour. At no time was there any pressure to make a decision or buy any particular equipment and it was clear that their intention was to find equipment that was right for me.
Really excellent all round.
Dave

| | | Re: New equipment 10x42 Delta SLs, comfortable to use, brighter image than my old 10x50s, light weight and close focussing and an Opticron GS815 with HDF zoom eyepiece. I tried the ED version of scope too, but to my eyes I could not see enough of a difference to pay the extra.
