Cheap 100 400 tripod collar to 100 macro collar

A lot of us use the 100 400 canon lens that comes with the tripod collar B(W). I am sure that a lot of us also have the canon 100 mm macro lenses. I looked into the cost for a collar for the macro lens about £90, this ring is the B(B) it fits other Canon macro lenses. The reason I wanted one is its so easy to rotate the lens and keep the same orientation but I thought that at about £90 it was to expensive. I now find that the B(B) and the B(W) are the same other than colour and a plastic ring on the B(B). I have now found a web site that sells the rings (it’s a Canon service and repair company) for £12 including vat and postage. I am not sure if it is OK to post a link but will supply it for any one interested. Neil
