| | | Minox 10x52 HG binoculars - focussing query Hi there,
I have tried to use the above binoculars, which have a scale on the focussing wheel supposedly to give a rough distance of how far you are from an object. This scale seems very inaccurate to me; and also I find that once focussed on something more than say 100 yards away, you are practically at the maximum turning point of the wheel, i.e. at infinity setting, leaving little adjustment movement for focussing on any objects beyond this point.
My questions really are: has anyone else experienced this "problem" or is it just a characteristic of the Minox 10 x 52 binocular. Could it be problems with my eyesight as I am slightly short sighted but not abnormally so?
Any thoughts welcome, many thanks |

| | | Re: Minox 10x52 HG binoculars - focussing query Hi Bruce, thanks for that advice - did try it and it did help a bit so perhaps the bins are just tuned right to their limit on the focusing wheel and work best with glasses on. They're just so unlike any other pair of bins I have that's all. Will just have to adapt I suppose. Thanks again. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
