opticron es 80 ga ed v3 help !

hi, i am about to take the plunge and buy the opticron es 80 ga ed v3 scope.
i have read the reviews and i have compared against the nikon fieldscope, leica, swarovski models and i feel that this scope fits what i am looking for and also my budget.
does anyone own this scope and what do you think about it out and about ???
i will be using for birdwatching and general wildlife watching ( badger otters etc )
i may start digiscoping next year (maybe)... would this be the scope to use ?

It's always best to try a scope out before you buy, but this scope does have a very good reputation for being excellent value for money. Which eyepiece are you going to use it with?

Hi Steve !

More than likely i will go for the hdf 20X60 wide angled zoom eye piece.
I have tested several scopes along with this one and i am quite happy with the reviews and feedback i have read.

If you've tried it and are happy then go for it - I've not heard of anyone being dissapointed with one, and it can definitely be used for digiscoping too.
