Canon EOS300D Macro Question
Probably an extremely stupid question. There is a macro setting on the dial of the Canon EOS300D, I am wondering what its function is, bearing in mid that I thought that you only needed to set the macro on the lens itself ... wondering if it has any relevance to use with lenses with macro settings?

If it's the same as a 20D it just sets the drive to single shot, metering to evaluative and auto focus to one shot.
I suppose it's the set up Canon thinks works best for macro shots.

Yes changes the settings automatically to AF = One Shot, Drive = Single Shooting, Metering = Evaluative.
