Steiner Skyhawk 10x42

Just bought what I thought were Bausch and Lomb binos but turned out they were Bushnell. Sent them back as was not impressed by them one bit. Turns out Warehouse Express had labelled them wrong on their site. Have exchanged for Steiner Skyhawk 10x42's. Hope I made the right decision

steiners are a good bit of kit , but may be you should of insisted on baucsh and lombs at the advertised price

It is often assumed that if an item is wrongly priced the retailer is obligated to sell it at the price shown. This is not the case, the shopkeeper can sell it at the correct price and, of course, you can refuse to buy it. You are however entitled to report the incident to the Trading Standards Officer.

Yes they really are a nice bit of kit. The build quality is absolutely superb, they are very ergonomic and feel lovely to hold. Even in low light the image quality is very sharp. The lens protectors click onto the bino body, but can be removed if desired. I am absolutely chuffed to bits with these.

Bushnell and Baush and Lomb are the same thing. Baush and Lomb was a marketing thing to make you think they were German.....

I have to say that I thought that the Bushnells were very poor indeed. I have heard people rate them, so maybe it was just the model that I chose, but the build quality was terrible, the magnification slider would stick, you could see great big lumps of putty / glue on the inside of the chamber and they just felt wrong, if you know what I mean.
