Recorder 6 (and previous versions)

I have both recorder 6 and mapmate, and im new to both software to be honest. I have started threads on both for WAB'ers who have use of, and/or have knowledge or tips on either software to exchange that knowledge or info in these threads.

I would like a forum / subsection ultimately for biological recording seeing as the majority of waber's do this...so a section for software or storing , using or analysing that data would be good. If there are other recording packages out there in use please add them or start a thread.

Dan, you are right to discuss this, but how many threads am I going to have to watch? I use Recorder and transfer information to and fro from Mapinfo and Arc map, I bought Mapmate to get a feel for this software, I am trying to get to grips with Map Maker and on and on. Can we get a little place to live in on here?
