| | | Hedghog box and Cam I'm looking to build a hedgehog box from a plastic storage box and lid with a piece of drainpipe as the tunnel/entrance or maybe buy a ready built one. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced wireless cam that I can power from a 12v leisure battery?
Thanks

| | | Re: Hedghog box and Cam You can get them for about 30 quid - if you're going to make one remember to put a vent hole at the back as hedgehogs generate a lot of heat and your box will steam up!!

| | | Re: Hedghog box and Cam Hi Davetee,
What's the camera for? Try Maplins. They have a few. I bought one for £30.00 last year. It's night outdoor but only had 30 metres of cable and I pluged it into my tv.
Why a plastic box? Wood is much better. Check the British hedgehog preservation society website they have plans for making wooden hedgehog houses. You could also use an old wine box. They're nice and thick.

Maplins do do wireless. I was looking at the website after I posted the messgae. Little bit more expensive.
