| | | Monocular - Bresser or Visionary? Hi Folks,
I'm new to the site other than posting a 'hello' recently and looking for any help on a suitable Monocular.
I have binoculars of 8x30, plus a small pair of 10 x 25 and a scope of 20-60 x 80 but feel that the bins need a little more for hand holding and I would not like to hold more than 10x but with more light.
Anyone have experiance of the Bresser 10x50 Safari Sprite or the Visionary 10x50 please - or indeed any other suggestions and outlets in the Midlands?
Thanks

Useless for birds and distances as I cant hold it still.
Brilliant for flowers and insects as focuses down to about 20cm
I have no knowledge of your putative brands though. Quote:

| | | Re: Monocular - Bresser or Visionary? Thanks for the input Hobjob. I have the loan of a 10x50 Visionary, which is excellent with superb light and holds pretty still. I just want to consider other options before deciding on what to buy.
Hope others will have more information for me
All the best

| | | Re: Monocular - Bresser or Visionary? All sorted - bought an Opticron 8x32LE - waterproof - smaller than the Visonary and lighter. Obtained from Sherwoods in Studley - an excellent outlet for binoculars, monoculars and scopes with a large range to choose from. Wortha avisit if you are looking for opticals. They also have a wek site and mail order.
