aldi spotting scope

just seen this spotting scope on the Aldi website, has anyone any experience of it? am after something to take with me when out and about looking for deer and things

would this be ok for digi-scoping ?

I bought one the last year,as i took up birdwatching and didnt want to fork out too much for a decent one,i found it was suitable for my needs,the optics are clear but dont expect the same clarity as a leica scope though,so for general nature watching i would say its a good buy.......and yes i still have mine and use it...

Don't know about the scope, however, my OH bought me a weather station from there for christmas, much less cheaper than at a local pc type shop and better spec, it's fantastic

I'd give the scope a go if I didn't have my camera and kit to lag around Mind you, my birdcam was no good from there but hey ho

These were on sale this time last year and the general concensus of opinion from serious birders was that they were excellent value for money.
I'm gonna get one for me and one for my dad

I've never heard of these. Can they predict the weather or do they just keep a record of it?

Time and time again I've booked a day off on the strength of the web-based BBC, 5-day forecast. Only for the predicted bright sunshine to change to dull/miserable/chucking-it-down as the day off arrives

Please tell me I can go down to Aldi, spend a few quid and then turn into the new William Foggit

ive just come back from my local aldi, and the que for the checkout was huge, so going to go back later and pick one up.

The other half has just gone to pick one up for my son. I have warned him that it is for wildlife watching, looking out over the valleys and such, and not peering into peoples windows.....He's at that dodgy age
