| | | High Street camouflage bargains This post really applies to the ladies; guys feel free to report bargains of your own.
Mark One have cotton camouflage jackets on sale at the moment for £ 8.
Claire's has camouflage bags for £ 4.
The jacket comes in a range of sizes (I got a 14 so it was a couple of sizes too big so I can layer up). It has four pockets. It's not waterproof, but perfect for covering up and blending into the background in summer. It is quite silent, and should lose any remaining crinkliness quite quickly.
The bag is a shoulder bag that I'm going to adapt to fit round my waste. It's large enough for either my binoculars, or my small camera (whichever isn't round my neck) and my other gear - bat detector, sound recording device, notebook, ruler etc. I'll still need a rucksack, and it isn't well padded, but apart from that it's great for the price.
BARGAIN

These will nicely for my Coast to Coast Walk in May, probably need them if wild camping.

I noticed quite a lot of nice dirty green pants and tops at George in Asda at the mo - I got a nice thick mans top half zipped jersey type - very warm for wearing around the house when the heating isn't on but will also go well outside too - was £18 so not exactly cheap but if it does the job....

| | | Re: High Street camouflage bargains I get all my camo stuff from a well known auction site, just got a gortex camo jacket for £6 brand spanking new, just need the trousers now.
I also get army surplus trousers at £2. I like them as they have lots of pockets and I can never have enough pockets. |
