Hi every one, hope you can help. I need a mini tripod and remote control cable for Canon 40D. any suggestions welcome

Depends what type of mini pod you need DC, and exactly what you will be using it for.

There should be some detailed info on Canon's UK website, as to what remote releases they do.

In the meantime, you might find what you need on the tripod in the following thread. (which is in WAB's wildlife photography forum).

They do some interesting remote releases that incorporate lcd viewing screens.

I bought a wireless remote controller earlier in year off Ebay. excellent

Previously had cable which always seem to get snagged.

hi ya mate, i got a 3rd party wireless controller JJC WR-100 A, which is for the 40d. not had ant probs with it it works great.and got a good range.also very cheap
