| | | Re: Night Vision Monocular at Aldi. Like you say Brian, they will indeed be fun. Fun for a lot of people and will be something to pass away the long winter nights with if nothing else. I can see this item may be going on a few xmas pressie lists!
And Nytecam, thanks for the bang up to date review. And a warm welcome to WAB, by the way!

| | | Re: Night Vision Monocular at Aldi. I got the Bushnell ones for just under £200. They are good for stargazing..But looking down my garden everything is blurred..
It could be my eyesight is not too good as others in the family don't find this a problem and the Monocular doesn't have a poor eyesight button as with my camera. |

I have a 4x50 with a spare 24mm objective which I never use because the image is too small to be useful. I notice they retail over here for about the same as the Bushnells. I do find having to twiddle both eyepiece and objective on mine a particular pain. Come to think of it, I've never tried looking at the stars with it. |

I hope you were on commission. I trust the "stargazing" bit doesn't mean you're off night-stalking Messrs Mears and King and other such "godlike beings" ... !!
