Hi
just had an email about the new Canon 50d.
15.1 megapixels, 6.3 frames / sec for 90 jpegs and weather-proofed for light rain. Seems to be going to be aroud £1100. Will also take same batteries, grip and accessories as 40D.

yes I've just seen your post, i thought I was seeing double 
I got an email from warehouseexpress who are taking pre-orders but better to wait a bit and save a few hundred quid

Looks to be quite a good improvement, I like the addition of the in-camera AF micro adjustment for up to 20 lenses taken from the 1D mkIII series. | | |
