| |  Going Digital what to do with SLR's and stuff
I'm thinking of going digital  but what shall i do with all the old suff, is there a market for it seems a shame to just bin it. 
any suggestions please

It depends what you have got. I find that I can use all my old lenses from the K mount Pentax on my new 200D, with some restrictions, but the bodies are worth about nowt. |

Its mainly Canon: T 90 , AE1, 2 of & EOS 500, various vivitar and sigma lenses |

I don't think you will get much second hand for them. Keep them for your museum. You won't regret going digital

Cheers Ron & Fairy-wren it seems to be the case  I've been looking at Canon 40D, 450D & 1000D will take advice and opinions on these and others

Not sure how backwards compatibility works with Canon cameras, but your Canon fit Vivitar/Sigma lenses should probably still be good to go on a new Canon DSLR body, no?
There is a pretty good second hand market for this kind of thing - I bought a Nikon FM2 (circa 1983) on ebay recently for £150 - these things hold their value pretty well, as long as they are in reasonably good condition. |
