hides /tents at aldi

i have a aldi near me & in the free papers they often put there free sheets with up & comeing sales goods. well they now have a fishermans tent in green. which would be great for a hide. & the best bit it there only £4.99....im getting a few tommorow if theres any left..gez

i bought a couple of these today there great...dark green, size 240 x 120 x 120 cm..come in a neat bag, looking forward to setting it up somewhere & sitting back with camera at the ready ..

Will you have to adapt it, like cutting a hole for the lens etc?

Let us know how it turns out - ive always found tents to be a bit tall as hides, which is why I can normally be found sprawled under a cam net in the woods. tents are a lot more comfortable tho...

Wish I had seen that I bought a doghouse hide from a "reputable" company only to find I could have bought the same thing from the same company's ebay shop for £30 less .My experience of Aldi is they are always sold out when you get there.

Unless you cut a hole in them and use it backwards they really dont offer a lot of cover (unless you have a camo face net on )

Another really good option and very lightweight is a Basha (Bivvi, Hootchie), with a few metres of paracord and some pegs you can make a hide anywhere.

Here is my hide and my lightweight Basha setup.
