Decent carrier for tripod and scope, need help.

Looking for info on a pod carrier for my Opticron HR 80GA HD scope and Velbon Carbon CF645?

If anyone can supply suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

We really need more info:

What else are you going to be carrying?
How far are you going to carry it?
Is protection more or less important than quick access?
Are you young and fit or fat an old like me?

Personally, if I am birdwatching / photographing I clip scope and tripod as one unit to a karbina attacheed to front of rucksack.

If walking as main aim, I either don't carry scope or pack it in rucksack
and attach tripod to rucksack.

Ditto camera.

In summer I use padded straps on each shoulder, but clip these straps together to stop one or both falling off!!

I dislike carryinbg on my shoulder.

There are excellent packs (Viking do one) for scope and tripod, whereby the scope is held above head, with two of tripod legs open pointing down. These are now appearing with some packing space too.

I already have packs that will carry a tripod, plus large lenses and my DSLR. I'm really looking for an A frame to carry said scope. Since my original post above (and after much searching) I have found three Scopac products. Just wondering if anyone may have an alternative brand? As far as distance goes, it's how much I cover in my day out to be honest. Quick access is alpha here, the scope is already covered . I need to distribute weight as I broke my shoulder recently.

Hmmm stature....well I would say, short, thin and 54 and I walk regularly with my wife.
