Mini scopes?

Can anyone recommend a cheap mini scope?

It doesn't have to be all singing, all dancing. It isn't a main scope, just for those moments when your driving to work and spot something interesting down the fields.

Don't want to go above £100 as it will be left in the car. Needs to be small in size and at least 20x magnification.

Try looking for the Opticron Oregon in any good search engine. It retails for about £100. I don't have one, but I do have binos of the same make and they are very good.

I have one of the Nikon small scopes - can't remember exact details,
but I was not impressed with the opticrom or the mighty midget
(which is criticised for sucking in air when expanded - see threads passim).

But the Niokon costs more, but IMO with optics you get what you pay for

I'm very ahppy with my Nikon - very light for travel.
