| | | bino's Hello,
My boyfriends birthday is approaching. I want to get him some bino's, they need to be compact and no more than about £120. Any recommendations please and where possible websites for buying online. (I dont suppose any with night vision capabilities would be on the market for that price!!)

Di | Urm.. I think they may be a bit big..They are not really pocket size. You may want to look at some in the shops to get an idea of the size you want..But I like these, they are quick to focus when watching birds/wildlife that move fast. They are quite heavy when walking too..Some of the other nature view look smaller. |

On the whole zooms make things worse.
Just because something is larger does not mean that it has more details.
There are loads of threads about Binos on the site, but be
very careful of zooms.
IME salespersons in high street shops no squit all about binos.
Talk to birders in hides and look through as many as you can. |
