| | | Bat Detector Hi
my old Batbox 3 is on the verge of packing in. I've been looking around and the Magenta Bat5 looks interesting. Has anyone got one of these and if so what is it like for sensitivity and background noise etc ?
Thanks,

So has no one used a magenta bat4 or 5 ?
I'd go for the new Batbox 3d but it's £160 and I can't justify that.

| | | Re: Bat Detector Have a look on Amazon, the Ciel Detectors get a good write up as does the
Magenta 5 the Batbox Duet is the very popular choice at the moment
I use a Pettersson D200 and Magenta the Magenta has had a hard life being lent out to anyone interested in listening to bats for the first time
My local Bat Group use Magentas and they are very reliable

| | | Re: Bat Detector Hi
I go on holiday next week to portugal and I want to take it with me and I doubt it will be back in time. It was bought second hand so it's had a good run , so much so most of the lettering on the front has been rubbed off .
I've ordered a Bat5 as I wanted to upgrade to an LED version and it will be here on friday.I will contact batbox when I get back as if it wont cost a lot to repair I will get it sorted and then let my son have it.
thanks both,

I ordered directly from Magenta an received it the next day. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
